Self Care by AbleTo (previously Sanvello)

Say hello to Self Care by AbleTo!

Self Care is a new on-demand app for self-help for stress and emotional well-being, replacing Sanvello in 2023.

With Self Care, you will have self-care techniques, coping tools, meditations, and more – that you can access anytime, anywhere. You’ll get personalized content that is designed to help you boost your mood and shift your perspectives. Tools created by clinicians are suggested for you based on your responses to a short, optional assessment. Self Care is here to help you feel better and is available at no additional cost to you.

If you use the Sanvello app, you will find many of the same programs in Self Care, including:

  • Mood Tracking
  • Health/ Habit Tracking
  • Meditations/ Mindfulness Exercises
  • Journaling
  • Collections – guides to help you handle day to day challenges
  • Curated content for teens ages 13-19
  • In the Sanvello app, you may have used ‘Communities’ – a place to find peer support from other users going through similar experiences. This program will be added to Self Care later in 2023.

To access Self Care, visit AbleTo and click ‘Get Started’. Your access code is the Group Number on your UHC health insurance card. Once you have set up your profile, you can download the AbleTo app at Google Play or Apple App Store. Please note: If you are currently using the Sanvello app, you will get a notification with instructions to log into the AbleTo app.

In response to the increasing need to support teen mental health, AbleTo Self Care is now offering curated content for teens ages 13-19. Access is available for 12 months from the date of registration. Users can access Self Care by visiting ableto.com/begin. Once there, users will click “Get started” and they will be prompted to enter their access code “teen”. From there, users can follow the prompts to complete their registration.

If you have any questions, please contact the UHC Nurse Advocate, Brisgette Sims RN, BSN, at 314-440-3882 or bridgette_sims@uhc.com.
