When You Need IT Support
Self-Service Portal Provides a Quick Alternative

Did You Know: Other than calling the IT Service Desk, another great way to request support is via the Self-Service Portal.  This is an ideal alternative to report non-patient impacting issues.

To find the Self-Service Portal, please use these links below.  It is highly recommended that you add these to your Favorites page in your internet browser.

Care Select CDS Content Update coming Oct. 6th
by Karen Packard

Care Select Clinical Decision Support will be updated on October 6th. The National Societies have added and retired certain indications for specific advanced Imaging Exams (CT. MRI, PET, & Nuclear Medicine). A complete list of the changes will be available in the next issue for the EAR.

As a reminder, per CMS PAMA guidelines, the CDS must occur at the time of the order when the clinician can respond to the support suggestions. The provider may always continue with the selected exam, but may need to document reasons for the choice based on the appropriate use guidelines.

M*Modal Fluency Direct and Computer-Assisted Provider Documentation (CAPD) Tips and Tricks

M*Modal does not get in the way by consuming too much space. It can be dragged with the mouse anywhere on the screen or docked to any edge of the screen, whichever way is preferred.

In addition to being able to easily move or dock, M*Modal can also remember the window position for each user. Learn more about the options to change the M*Modal Menu window layout setting here.
