Fall Learning and Training Updates

Diversity 1.0 – 4.0

In our continuing effort to uphold our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Racial Justice; we are offering DOM wide virtual training for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion courses –  1.0, 2.0, 3.0. and 4.0.  These foundational courses are 1 hour each and are required for all members of the Department of Medicine. A list of course dates and times along with registration links can be found on the Office of Inclusion and Diversity website.

SAFE Module –

In support of the SAFE (Supporting a Fair Environment) initiative, the School of Medicine will be offering the SAFE Learning Modules for 2022-2023, starting in September, to new and returning faculty, select staff, and postdocs. Incoming residents, fellows, and students are separately taking the modules as well.  Anyone required to do SAFE training will receive an email with an individualized link to the training.  This is a requirement in the Department of Medicine and should be completed by November 1, 2022.

Harassment Prevention for US Employees –

This course is required training for all employees (including remote workers). It is designed to equip employees to recognize and respond appropriately to workplace harassment.
